All NITRO textile performance wear comes equipped with KNOX® Flexiform armour at the shoulders,
elbows and knees (where applicable).
In the constant search to increase the safety of all NITRO riders, NITRO carry out independent
batch testing of all armour used in their products before any production is released for sale to
the motorcycling community.
Every garment has a unique batch ID attached to the thermal liner (see example left). To see how
your armour performed in these tests simply insert your garment’s unique batch ID in the box below
and wait for your graph results. (The current EU armour safety standard CE EN 1621-1 (for elbow,
shoulder and knee) sets the approved limit for armour at 50kN). Peaks below this range indicate
performance higher than current standard. |
